Even Out Pavement
Uneven pavement isn’t aesthetically pleasing, nor is it safe. Driving over rough pavement can increase wear and tear on your vehicle or even a busted tire. Walking on uneven pavement is a hazard for everyone, making it an ER visit or lawsuit waiting to happen.
But we can help! We’ll even out low spots or areas where the pavement’s pushed upwards so it’s beautiful and safe again. Sometimes, this job requires replacement, while other times, patching will work. We’ll let you know what your unique issue needs during our consultation.
Fix Failing Sub-Base
The sub-base consists of between six and nine inches of gravel below the asphalt pavement. This layer protects your pavement from the effects of frost heave during frigid winters. It also makes it easier to lay down the pavement and helps us achieve evenness throughout the project.
Unfortunately, the sub-base can sometimes start to fail or wear away. When this happens, you’ll notice sagging areas or “dips” in the pavement. Increased cracking or complete separation in connected areas can also be a problem.
A failing sub-base often warrants a complete pavement replacement. However, every case is different, and we’re ready to meet with you to determine the most viable, affordable method of pavement repair for you!
Fill In Unsightly Cracks
Driveways and parking lots can quickly become riddled with cracks if you’re not proactive about maintenance and repair. Once an area of pavement is cracked, it’s more susceptible to further damage. The adage “you’re only as strong as your weakest link” can be applied to how pavement works.
If there are only a few small cracks, hot tar rubberized crack filler can extend the pavement’s lifespan. We highly suggest getting the problem fixed when it’s small because extensive cracking often warrants a complete replacement.
